Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to administer market supply systems. It includes identifying market supply system components, participating in a market supply system, evaluating a market supply system and reporting on a market supply system. Supply systems are based around the sequencing of operations and/or groupings of organisations that work together to design, produce and deliver a product or service for a specific market. Participants typically include direct market players, suppliers of supporting goods and services and entities that influence the market supply system. The unit is applicable to individuals working in domestic and/or global supply chains. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit of competency at the time of publication.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.

Assessors must hold credentials specified within the Standards for Registered Training Organisations current at the time of assessment.

Assessment must satisfy the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence and all regulatory requirements included within the Standards for Registered Training Organisations current at the time of assessment.

Assessment must occur in workplace operational situations where it is appropriate to do so. Where this is not appropriate, assessment must occur in simulated workplace operational situations that replicate workplace conditions.

Assessment processes and techniques must be appropriate to the language, literacy and numeracy requirements of the work being performed and the needs of the candidate.

Resources for assessment must include access to a range of

exercises, case studies or other simulations

materials, tools and equipment used in industry

documentation including organisational policies and procedures, industry standards, regulations, codes of practice, operational manuals and equipment specifications.
